Above & Beyond Awards
The Annual Above & Beyond Recognition Awards Ceremony is organizaed by the Sacramento City Unified School District Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Special Education, a committee of parents, teachers and community members who advise the district on special education issues.
This award recognizes parents, teachers, administrators, students, classified employees, volunteers and community members who have made, or are currently making, significant contributions to the district’s Special Education programs. Each year, a group of VSAS students is invited to perform as the ceremony's opening act.
