Arts Alive! at music circus
Arts Alive! hosts hundreds of individuals each summer during the Music Circus season. VSA arts of California at Sacramento has been part of Arts Alive! for the past ten years. Before the theatre is open to other patrons, Arts Alive! Participants get to come inside for a behind-the-scenes peek, pre-show discussion and question/answer session with one of the actors. This long-standing summer program introduces new audiences from our community to the wonders of professional musical theatre. The goal is to provide a complete, integrated experience and to prepare theatre guests to have a great time.
Saturday, July 19, VSA arts of California Executive Director, Alice Parente, and 15 children associated with the organization's Sacramento area programs attended the three-hour-long production of Gypsy at Music Circus.
