I Can Do That! Spring 2008

Spring 2008 - Twenty-six school sites participated in I CAN DO THAT! during spring 2008. Students gained skills in hip-hop dance, breakdance, cartooning, theatre arts, multi-media visual arts, puppetry and more. The program concluded with the 22nd annual spring Very Special Festival of the Arts at the Coloma Community Center.

A.M. Winn Elementary School

Students from A.M Winn Elementary School learned how to breakdance with the help of professional dancer Vince Horiuchi.

Ethel I. Baker Elementary School

Ethel I. Baker Kindergartenders worked with artist Walter Cervantes in a variety of media, including poetry and storytelling. Students created rock people, larger than life flowers, and paintings of their favorite things.
