Theatre Camp 2004 presents "Act On!" - a theatrical program for children of all abilities, ages 7-14 at Fairytale Town, July 25, 2004.

This year's Theatre Camp took Homer's Odyssey as a model to develop three short plays about traveling heroes fighting monsters on the way. Kids wrote the plays themselves, and staged them under the direction of Kurt Johnson, community theatre/performance artist for B Street Theatre, Pompaneous Productions, and Very Special Arts California at Sacramento (VSAS).
"Kids are having a lot of fun," says Corinne Galea, whose daughter plays the funny and active Fidget the Rabbit in Hillbilly Hoedown. "It is never a dull moment. My daughter is waiting eagerly to get into her costume and start the play. She gets a lot of social interactions, and I am very pleased with this VSAS program".
