SPRING 2010spring 2010 Very Special Festival of the Arts

VSA arts of California at Sacramento (VSAS), in association with Sacramento City Unified School District and City of Sacramento Neighborhood Services Department, presented the 24th annual Spring Very Special Festival of the Arts at the Coloma Community Center.
The Festival showcases the work of over 1,700 visual and performing arts students—with and without disabilities, ages 3 to 21—from the I Can Do THAT! program
I Can Do THAT! brings professional artists into integrated special and regular education classes where artists and students work together to create a final performance or visual artshow. The Festival showcases these productions—on an indoor and an outdoor stage and in a visual arts showcase. Additionally, there are 30 hands-on workshops in the Arts for the children and families attending the Festival.
