VSA Days at the Zoo: Wednesday, June 6, 2007
At this year's VSA Days at the Zoo students from Leonardo da Vinci K-8 School, Sam Brannan Middle School, Isador Cohen Elementary School, and Jedediah Smith Elementary School had artwork (including comic books, life-sized charicatures, ceramics, and self-portraits) on display. Performances included hip hop dances (James Marshall Elementary, Caroline Wenzel Elementary), drumming (A.M. Winn Elementary, Leonerdo da Vinci k-8 School), theatre arts (Ethel I. Baker Elementary School), vocal music (John Cabrillo Elementary), Aztec dance (Ethel Phillips Elementary), and puppetry (Bowling Green Elementary).

Very Special Arts joined the Sacramento Zoo for California Celebration: Celebrating California's Cultural Diversity at the Sacramento Zoo. As part of the celebration Very Special Arts Sacramento provided an exhibit of student artwork from past I Can Do That! participants, as well as 10 funshops for Zoo visitors to enjoy.
