Do you know a very special child?

Take a look around. About 12% of children under the age of 18 have special needs due to emotional, developmental, psychological or physical deficiencies. It is likely that your friend or relative or maybe YOU, cares for a very special child.

VSAS provides a non-threatening, non-competitive forum for children of all abilities to improve their learning skills and share their talents in the visual and performing arts with their communities. VSAS not only brings the Arts into schools, but also enables children to showcase their artistic achievements at the Very Special Festival of the Arts and various Community Art Shows. The Arts are NEVER adapted "down to the level of the handicapped." Rather, the children are raised to the skill level needed to produce high-quality artwork.

Join us! You can help one or any or many of these very special children become very special artists. Through Art, you can help them to find their place in this world. Click here for your tax-deductible contribution form.
